We tend to get a lot of emails from PR people and advertisers. Most of the time, these offers aren’t a good value. However, last week we got pitched by the developers of “Your Financial Fate” – a financial projection software package.

Basically, what this does is allow you to enter in your income, asset and debt parameters and the software will tell your net worth after given time frame.

It’s free.

According my contact, they are promoting the software to get some exposure on the web before marketing it to institutional clients, so there is no advertisements or products you’ll have to buy. The interface is inflexible and the language the software uses assumes you know a lot about accounting terminology, but its a leg up over most of these other sorts of tools.
