The news from Poland et al is looking pretty bad. The Daily Telegraph is running commentary by Ambrose Evans Pritchard noting some pretty shocking financial news coming out of Russia, the Ukraine and the Eastern Bloc of EU. Evidently, a lot of loans made to and from these countries are looking like they won’t be repaid.

Yikes!

That said, the Daily Telegraph runs lots of sensational articles, so I’d take this with a grain of salt. Plus, even though the headlines are bad, the US has delt with far worse. We will come through this rough patch stronger and more optimistic than ever.
