The Cave B Inn is a winery resort that is encircled by over a hundred vineyard acres and gorgeous views of the dramatic basalt cliffs of the Columbia Gorge and River. This resort is the perfect place for holding wedding parties, business conferences, company retreats, and social gatherings. It has full-service amenities that are in a convenient location in the heart of Washington state.
This estate winery-resort that overlooks the rugged Columbia river is close inside a hundred and twenty acres of vineyards. The resort has fifty-four guest rooms that are made of twelve cavern rooms accessed through a basalt rock wall, a pair of Sunrise rooms (with a kitchen and dining area), fifteen stand-alone Cliffe houses, and twenty-five Desert Yurts. The Cliffe houses and the Sunrise rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private terraces, separate sitting areas, and gas fireplaces. For more rustic experience to have, opt for yourself one among the yurts.
Some of the amenities available out there within the resort include a fine eating place serving a delicious menu, a wine-tasting room, a spa, a ball courts, Tendrils, and a cliffside saltwater pool. Guided biking, hike, and fishing can also be organized within the hotel for guests who would possibly find it necessary to use them.
Unique Cave B Lodging: The Yurts
The Yurts of Cave B Inn is situated 10 minutes’ walk away from the Cave B Inn main lodge, adjacent to the vineyards of Cave B Estate Winery, which on the south edge of the property provides a classic Cave B experience. Provisions are also made for a close nature experience for people who would like to enjoy the winery, spa, restaurant, pool, and few other alternative activities. Each of the yurts is sensitive to the environment, framed in a sustainable Douglas Fir.
Who would enjoy the yurts?
It is those who enjoy camping and, however, have always needed to experience without freezing noses and toes, the hard ground, lack of privacy, and shared restrooms can enjoy the yurts. The yurts have also made additional provisions for a non-public bathroom, king-sized bed, table and chairs, modern sofa teapot, mini-fridge, and an iPod docking station to play your own choice of tunes. Minimalist décor can give you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the yurt architecture, its latticed walls, the novelty of its curved shape, and its skydome for stargazing.
Do you wish to experience the same level of accommodation as a private Cliffe house or a Cavern Room has? Yes, you will enjoy the same sense of accommodation but without any added frills. The Modern colored cement floors will greet your feet (so come along with your warm socks or slippers to avoid being greeted by the floor) instead of the carpets of the Cavern Rooms or the wood floors of the Cliffe houses.
The Canvas walls took the place of the solid walls of the permanent structures. You may hear the snippets of your neighbors talking, a lot of calls, or their laughter. You will as well hear more birdsong and the rustle of the vines in the wind. Rugged shale pathways lead you to your yurts (so come along with your sturdy shoes) instead of paved paths.
