In the spirit of consumerism, we figured that we would round up great deals online for what is now being dubbed at Cyber Monday. Expect great deals online if you can’t be bothered by getting out to the mall.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind for finding the best deals and not spending too much:
1) Try to double up on coupons. Go through links like I’ve posted below and you get one code already entered, many stores actually allow more than one promo code, so google to see if you can find another.
2) Don’t buy it just because it is on sale. Before going online make sure you have a list of specific things that you intend to buy. Then stick to the list.
3) Avoid shipping costs. Today is a good day for this, as most retailers are offering free shipping. Keep in mind cost of shipping for returns, as some stores offer free return mailers and others don’t.
4) Find a good fit. There are some stores that will work easily to find a good fit online, others just don’t pan out. If you order and don’t get what you want, I’d shop elsewhere next time.
5) Sign up for mailer lists. While it is a pain to get extra email, this is the real way to get better deals. You’ll get much steeper discounts than you will just by going to a site. I do two things to cut down on email. First, I have everything go automatically to a sale folder so I don’t have to see it in my inbox. Second, I sign up on a store just before I need to make a purchase and then get off afterwards.
