I just wanted to quickly share some good news with the readers of our blog. I am finally gainfully employed again! As we explained earlier, I left my full time job to pursue graduate school full time back in March of this year.
Well, I was offered a quarter time assistantship through research center I’ve been working for. Its not much (about $800 per month), but it offers up to $4,500 dollars worth of tuition assistance. While the salary is not huge, whats more important is that I feel like I’m earning an income again. Both getting the job and having a small salary are a huge mental boost.
