I kinda get the impression that the folks are Kiplinger are a little nerdy. That said, the media they produce usually gives solid advice.

Here is one video that caught my eye. It is on the topic of things couples can do to improve their shared financial situations. Its valuable because most personal finance information for couples isn’t all that good or useful. At 2:04 its a quick watch, so give it a spin.

This information is quite helpful! I'm not married but I'm in a serious relationship and I believe that if I have the knowledge before the next step of our relationship comes then it will be a smooth transition. many couples break-up because of money and I don't want to be apart of that statistic.

It is vital to communicate with your partner regarding money. I did not realize that commingling the debt (as stated in this video) is a bad idea though because it cane affect the credit scores and credit. Great advice! thanks.
