Are Housing Prices Still Too High?

by Dual Income No Kids on February 23, 2009 · 0 comments

Hi All,

Some people think that housing prices are still too high. Check out this graph of the price of single family homes since 1980. It makes a compelling case that even with a 25% decline in housing, prices on condos and single family residences in 2009 are still way to elevated, at least relative to where they were in the 1980s. Be cautious if you are planning on investing in real estate. Understand the risks of a further correction.

Hat tip to Miles for pointing this out to us.

Best,

James
