Hi All,

Looks like the Federal Reserve is implementing new rules on banking overdraft fees.

The NY Times has the story.

Enjoy.

About time, they have been gouging our eyes out for a few years now.

Banks That Don't Use Chexsystems said... @ 11/13/2009 05:54:00 PM

Good deal! Next they need to pay attention to the flawed Chexsystems database that banks use to screen potential clients before opening accounts.

I'm not saying that they should get rid of it, but at least they should make it a bit more transparent, especially in this economy where I suspect many more people have been reported to chexsystems because of unpaid overdrafts.
