Just a quick posting. I've been inspired by some of the other bloggers I've read to try and focus more on getting passive income. So, my latest experiment is that I bought content for 150 websites on ebay. There was something like 10 articles per site, so for 1550 article I paid like $10 bucks.
The idea will be host the sites, spruce them up and bit, change some of the content around, add a copyright and then get the sites set up. Hopefully we'll get more from google's adsense then was invested in getting the websites set up.
I'll let you all know how it turns out. Hopefully it is just a first step in a new adventure in creating wealth, and ends up being a great money making opportunity.

You mean you will be spamming Google! Everytime I run across one of these types of sites that is all Adsense with very little content I been reporting to Google as SPAM!

Believe it not, this is a great comment.
What I think it illustrates is the challenges to taking content that perhaps isn't so great, and then turning it into something that people will bother to click on.
I'm a firm believer that even crappy materials - like bad lumber for example, can be used to create something good. Using the lumber example, if you have leftover wood from a construction job you can keep it and make something like a shed, or a chickencoop.
Also, I think its really important to be entreprenurial. Ultimately if your product is something that people don't find of value, then you won't get any $$$. So, the market will be the ultimate arbitrator anyways.
