Dow Down 680 Pts: Who Cares?

Hi All,

This afternoon’s NY Times is carrying the blaring headline: Dow Plunges 680 Points!!!

Under normal circumstances, I guess this would be impressive. After all, billions of dollars of equity gets wiped out when the Dow moves like this. However, after the savage bloodletting earlier last month, I guess its harder to get excited by the news.
