Since we dinks live in Washington DC, we sometimes have our ears close to the ground. Well, the most recent rumor I heard was that after the next election, congress is going to come down hard on the credit card processing companies. The reasoning is that there is a lot of public pressure, the credit card companies are a convenient political target, and that the Obama presidency – assuming he wins – will be supportive of the move.
