Financial Education for Kids

In the personal finance blogsphere we talk a lot about investing and saving money. However, one thing we don’t discuss is the proper policy for educating children about personal finance. Accordingly, todays posting is a video from the New America Foundation on precisely this topic.

Again, the video is a bit long, so as usual I recommend that you minimize your browser and play the video in the background.

Also, to round things out, we’re including a link to Assetbuilding.org. Assetbuilding.org is a website, again from the New America Foundation, with links to policy papers and economic data. if you want tips on saving money, its probably not the place to go. But if you want solid economic data and analysis about consumer finance, its a good spot to check out.
